Applying to be a Peer Assessor

Would you like to be an Arts Ottawa peer assessor?

Or do you know someone who would make a good peer assessor?

Peer assessors play a vital role at Arts Ottawa. Each year, AO invites local artists, arts administrators, and community members (including those with experience serving on arts organization boards) to participate as assessors. Peer assessors review applications and help determine recipients for programs including ARTicipate Project Grants and the Arts Ottawa Awards.

Assessors bring diverse perspectives, cultural knowledge, and expertise, representing a wide range of experiences in the arts and broader community.

Arts Ottawa is committed to accessibility. Assessors receive an honorarium for their time and application review work. We will also make every effort to cover or accommodate any accessibility-related supports needed to participate in a jury or advisory panel.

If you would like to be considered as an Arts Ottawa peer assessor, please provide us with the information below.
