Shared Ground: A Framework for Cultural Co-Design in Downtown Ottawa

Join us on June 25, 2025 from 8:30am (registration) to 4pm, for Shared Ground – Learning and Gathering Day, a dynamic, action-focused event uniting artists, business leaders, and creative experts. Together, we’re building a shared ground—one that values cultural co-design, community expertise, and the power of imagination in city-building.

Event Location:  Place de Ville, 300 Sparks Street & 112 Kent Street, 15th floor

Together, we’ll map, prototype, and model sustainable, arts-forward space activations through community visioning and participatory design. This day also launches our first Leadership Circle, calling-in leadership to identify strategies and pathways to centre artists in placemaking and city-building.

Presented by Arts Ottawa in collaboration with ArtsBuild Ontario, Memetic Media, and the Ottawa Art Gallery ACE District Initiative.
